Barcie is Now Mine
Tuesday, March 28th, 2006I always knew that I had to get a car as soon as the Partner from GT told me that I was accepted in GT Irvine… but I had a wonderful mommy that drove me around and a wonderful friend (thats you pok!) that would put up with my katagalan portion in shopping… but March 21, 2005 changed everything and made me decide that there is no way I will ever cry again because I felt so helpless…
Meet my new car, a Honda Civic 2006 EX, Tango Red Pearl… I have never been so stressed with regard to shopping… but this baby proved to be a hard find and so more becomes a treasure I have to take care of. Since this model was voted car of the year, and this color has a limited number of supply, I had to take my hat off to my agent, Tito Mel, for making sure that I get the car the weekend I told him I had to have it. Any second choices for the color he said… "i just told him… hhmm… tango red pearl, non-negotiable…" Hahaha…
Well, Barcie is definitely worth the wait… she was given to me by the Lord the best time and the best circumstance… I have to thank a good friend of mine who has been really patient and supportive with the task of driving… thank you so much anton (sorry, you are anton to me…hehehe) for being the best coach in the world. I would have never been able to drive that fine and that calm without you. Your "mumu" will always be with me especially when I am driving close to your side… and thank you for setting Barcie to an automatic shutdown mode if ever I accidentally got into the freeway entrance…. hahhaa… that is soooo you, protective, mature and scared to death for barcie… Hahaha! There is no way I can ever repay you, not even a daily massage for life… you will always have my gratitude and my friendship. :) Thank you ninong Anthony… (he was the only one present in Barcie’s "binyag") at St. Killian’s Church.
So I now have a baby… born March 26, 2006, Fontana, CA… Barcie is now mine.
